“My name is Vitto and I’m with T.E.A.M. Dad. What fatherhood means to me, is to be present emotionally, physically, and to have balance with family and work. There is no father who is really perfect, but all we can do is just try to better ourselves. I really recommend the TEAM DAD program to others because the program supports fathers in bettering themselves and to be the best fathers we can be for our little ones.

Healthy Start has empowered me to be the best mother I can be. My care coordinator, Terrissa, has given me constant support, love, and motivation. As a young, first-time single mom, I was hesitant to join the program, but Terrissa immediately connected me with resources to prepare for my baby. She visited monthly, checked on my appointments, and shared helpful information about pregnancy and motherhood. I could always count on her advice and encouragement. She even inspired me to go back to school to study psychology, so I can one day inspire someone else like she inspired me.

Healthy Start is a great program. When I found it, everything changed for me!!! A lot of help and information about the process to be a mom and now in My maternity. I am so grateful to have known about this program, when I need some information and help, I have received an immediate response, Terrissa has been a fundamental piece in my process of being a mother.

I am in the Healthy Start program and I totally recommend it since they have treated me wonderfully. The person who assists me, Genevieve, is a very good person because she listens to me, you can feel that she cares, understands my needs, and always looks for the resources I need to achieve my goals or achieve something I want. In addition, the program provides all the necessary information during the process, and I had a very nice experience in the Baby shower activity they did since I had not had one before. They deserve five stars.

As a family that fell through the cracks of Florida’s system, we’re beyond grateful to the Healthy Start Coalition of Osceola County. They’ve helped us with essentials like hygiene items and food, and connected us to prenatal care we couldn’t have accessed otherwise. The emotional support, compassion, and dedication they show is unmatched. In today’s economy, support like this is more important than ever, not just providing resources, but real guidance to help families succeed.

I first heard of Healthy Start in 2016. In 2024, now in Osceola County and pregnant again at 39, I gave the program another chance and I’m so glad I did. From my first call with Michena, everything changed. I was connected to resources, classes, and support I truly needed. Now I receive home visits with Shayna that feel personal and caring. Healthy Start has nourished my family and reminded me I’m not alone.
